Our Mission

Our Mission: Supporting Orphanages and Building Sustainable Children’s Communities in Haiti.

Our Model: The Children’s Communities include housing, clinics, classrooms, gardens, recreational space, a skills center and a small business to help with funding and community involvement.

Our Method: Most of our volunteers will work with local laborers in Haiti and most of our contributions will go toward local purchases of building materials, supplies, land and even buildings.  This program will contribute to the local economy whenever we can purchase goods and services locally.

Our Volunteers: Take ownership in building orphanages.  They can sponsor to build a kitchen or an entire building.  Our volunteers can choose to visit Haiti, work on projects, care for the children, raise awareness and even do fund raising.  We want to empower our volunteers to take action and ownership in the program.

We plan to build when we have proper funding but what can we do to start?

  • provide sanitary relief  to buildings
  • cleaning and painting
  • repair plumbing problems
  • build beds & integrated storage systems
  • provide upgrades to lighting and ventilation
  • improve water management systems with wells, pumps and rooftop tanks
  • repair mosquito nets in buildings without windows (malaria)
  • create recreational features like swing sets, play structures & soccer nets
  • design basic modifications to improve functionality for the staff and directors of the orphanages
