Backpacks for MHO Kids

Personal Property is not common in Haitian orphanages.  We wanted the kids at MHO to have something they can call their own.  We gave them all backpacks filled with surprises like picture books about adventurers, animals, flashlights and radios… some new clothes and most importantly, photographs of friends and of themselves.

WHAT A WONDERFUL IDEA ! HERE WE KNOW MOST CHILDREN SEE THEIR BACK PACKS AS A PLACE TO CARRY THEIR BOOKS, AND HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS BACK AND FORTH TO SCHOOL. TO THE HAITI’S ORPHANS THEIR NEW BACK PACKS SEEM TO CARRY THEIR HOPE FOR A BETTER FUTURE, AND A KNOWLEDGE THEY HAVE VALUE IN THIS WORLD. THE SMILES OF JOY SAY THANK YOU BETTER THEN WORDS.
