Mike Mahon, CGP
Mike is the founder of the Haiti Orphan Rescue Program. Mike is the president of Adaptive Building Solutions, a green building and consulting company based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mike is also a member of the Builder’s and Remodeler’s Association of Greater Ann Arbor, the National Home Builder’s Association and the United States Green Building Council. Mike is a certified green building professional and a candidate for LEED GA/ LEED AP for homes. He has been published in local newspapers for his work in green building. He also spent 7 years as an international logistics manager and consultant. Mike is an accomplished Ironman triathlete and has a passion for ice hockey and backpacking. He enjoys snow skiing, water sports and time with his wife Andrea and sons Rocco and Mack.
Andrea DeLuca Mahon
Andrea is a co-founder of the Haiti Orphan Rescue Program. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in Psychology. She was four-year Big Ten scholarship athelete and was voted team captain of the Women’s Volleyball team at Michigan State University in 1993. From 1993-2005, Andrea was also the honoree and a recipient of the “Andrea DeLuca Spirit Award” which honored the women’s volleyball team member most capable of combining team spirit and leadership throughout the season. For the last fifteen years Andrea has held a career in healthcare, specifically in the area of cardiology. As an Account Manager for Marquette Medical Systems and GE Healthcare, she has worked with hospitals in the state of Michigan providing GE’s suite of cardiology products and imaging solutions. In her current role as an Interventional Project Manager at GE Healthcare, Andrea now works with cardiovascular departments across the Midwest implementing GE’s hemodynamic and electrophysiology recording products. Andrea is Six Sigma Green Belt certified and a member of the GE Elfun organization. She enjoys traveling, skiing, camping, a good book and most of all spending time with husband Mike and sons Rocco and Mack.
Michael Rath
Michael is the co-founder of Haiti Orphan Rescue Program. Michael is the managing partner of Trilogy Partners, a design and build firm located in Breckenridge, Colorado. Michael is also the owner of Azaya Design, a residential design company that operates in California and Hawaii. He is a director of the Summit County Builders Association and was Builder Of The Year in 2007. His company’s homes and designs have received numerous awards and been frequently published including a feature story in the May 2010 issue of Architectural Digest. Prior to his career in design and building Michael was a writer and worked in New York Independent Film. Michael is known to travel in the company of two Labs, Angus and Sancha.
